Obituary for Albert Lot Leffler Jr.
Albert Lot Leffler Jr. age 85 passed away on Sunday, June 13, 2021 at his home. Born in Pittsburgh PA. on January 18, 1936, he was the son of the late Albert Lot and Helen Brady Purcell Leffler. Al was the CEO of Material Handling Institute of America. He was a member of the Symphony Guild of Charlotte, and the Opera Guild. Al was an avid reader and loved spending time with his granddaughters.
Al is survived by his wife of 59 years, Gloria Jean Mitchell Leffler; a daughter, Liz Caldwell and husband Randy of Gastonia; a son, Albert Leffler III of Charlotte; two sisters, Gretchen Schlegel and husband Ted of California and Christine Fisher and husband Jim of California; two granddaughters, Maizie Caldwell and Cassie Caldwell.
Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, June 18, 2021 at 10:00am at Crowders Creek Presbyterian Church with Rev. Ron Patrick officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
